You gotta love how the gov't types write things. Using their words, if I take an exhaust system off a bike older than 1983 and stick it on a 2013 Harley it can make enough noise to break windows and I'm still complying with the law. :laugh: :laugh:

thinking of getting little pipes welded to my stock headers, I wonder if that would work with a jet kit.

Ed in Texas I think that is the law.
Most of them damn thing's are louder idling at a stop light
then my uncorked sidewinder.
