I am way too slow. I just came by to post the link to the story and there's already a full discussion.

Since I wrote it in July but it didn't run until December (due to scheduling considerations way beyond my control) I figured by now Les thought I was totally full of BS and there was no story.

Gotta keep at least a shred of credibility...

Little woman allready donated a 4'X5' stained glass window we removed from our other home we are redoing to put the article, pictures and a shirt in. I really thing she was more excited than I was. It really is a proud moment in our adventures together

Some of the cleanest builds I've come across are right here on this site.
Clean restorations to custom builds... B)

With that in mind, why not do a KZRider article on some of the builds here w/images to show off what us old/young guys can do with a 30 year old Kawi... ;) And we're doing this ourselves and not having someone build/modify/fabricate/paint etc... as witnessed in these build off shows. All through our own personal desire, determination, blood/sweat and imagination.

Bet that grabs some attention in the build off world we see these days...

Yeah, Les. Was looking to send you an email concerning your paint job. Yeah. Awesome! Props to you. This year when Moto GP comes around let's all have a kzr rally. Would love to meet you and your bike in person. Who did that paint?! I have to have a trick paint job with the idea we mentioned earlier but can't quite get it solidified just yet. Keep up the good work! If and when I tackle my next project I will call you to do my swinger.
