Whats the model of this bike?

Hello Everyone, im new to the forum and decided to join and see what everyone else is doing to theyr KZ's

As of this week im a proud owner of a 1983 KZ650 however i dont have the slightest idea on what model it is... i scored it on ebay for 500 bux but the owner didnt know what this is so if anyone can help me out that would be awsome

also whats the diff between the H-3 and the H3 CST?

To my knowledge the only 1983 KZ650 model sold in the US was the KZ650-H3 which is a CSR model. I've never heard of a CST. Below is pic of a KZ650-H3. Yours looks like that model except someone has installed an aftermarket seat. You can check the VIN stamped on the right side of the steering stem to be sure.

im sorry the CST was a typo, i meant to write CSR

the only reason im asking is ebcause i went on ebay and there are 100's of parts that are listed for h3 and for CSR models only.. i jsut wanted to make sure taht there was an actuall difference...

and yes the seat does look different however they are redily awailable on ebay for $130, cant seem to find the "stock" seat
