Z1 at Swap meet Have You Seen These Mags Before?

I was at a local swap meet this morning. Mostly Harley stuff but I found this little gem with a 1972 date. Guy is asking $4700 for it. I have never seen these Mags before. It has 24,000 miles on it and a ton of chrome and paint on the engine. Nice old Kerker. Any help would be good.

Those are "INVADER MAGS" very rare for the Jap bikes. And those are in excellent shape.
They madfe them for Harleys in the 70's they used to have a 5 spoke wheel.
But they cracked a lot, probally caused a lot of injury. So the Govt and DOT made them
go to 7 spoke on the Harley wheels anyway.
That's a nice old school Z1

The MFG date was 72. I didn't get the month.

You really have to love what the bloke has done to it to warrant that price IMO.

Ya they look like Invader Wheels , I think you can still buy them
