LSR anyone going

Just wondering if anyone here is going to the Lone Star Rally. I know a few here live in Texas. I'll be down there cuz it only takes me 20 minutes to get there.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck going to a Cub Scouts camp out. Are you going to be our local correspondent Charlie? Seems like WABBMW made the trip last year. We wouldn't mind a few pictures you know. Just sayin'

I'm heading down in about a hour. I had to clean the carbs and change the oil and replace the stator cover (I never put the new one on after the restore :whistle: ) I sat the tank on something and it fell off so I got my first dings :sick: . I guess I'll paint the Z1 tank I got a year ago and repaint the LTD tank for a spare. I'll take some pics

Well shat I was all good to go and started the bike and it made this god allful noise. After 15 or 20 minutes I found the hose for the smog crap had came off. I put it back on and its all good. Hard to belive that much noise would come out of that hose. So this setback messed up my timeing so I couldnt go becouse my grandkids birthday party was at 2 and now I have all 3 here for the night. I'm going in the morning but most everyone will be packing up.

Including information about bike year and model may elicit better responses.
And it's easy to put the information in your signature where it will automatically appear in posted messages.
When done, the signature information appears in all posts, past and future.
