Thanks for the suggestion. I saw the threads on making your own, and honestly, space is sort of a luxury, so I sprung for the carbtune set after reading many good things. My brother can use it too (CB900C), so he agreed to go in on it with me.

Probably the EPA regs (the KZ reed valves to put more O2 in the exhaust) explains the difference. The KZ750 might have out-performed the new CB750 DOHC and the new GS750 16-valve back then, but it sure looked, and still looks, sort of bland.
