Thanks Ed. The dampers are marked "Monroe" and I'm pretty sure that's what they are. They came with the bike and in IMHO are severely lacking damping. I'm getting a pretty good wag in the back when cornering hard and the swingarm bearings have zero play. I'm really interested in how the "new" shocks with adj damping will perform on the KZ. I had them on my KZ650 back in the day (late 80's early 90's) and I kept up with everyone in the tight corners back then.
No issues with triple digits speeds in a straight line even before the front and rear suspension mods, but then again I'm not letting the bars go and sitting straight up at 120 either. :woohoo:

Sounds good Gane! I'm always up for a Sunday run. Yeah, you know exactly what I'm talking about being from near Boulder.
My bike is mostly stock with minor exceptions. I prefer the subtle "sleeper" approach.
Pm coming your way shortly.

you know there was everything there...but still not matter how trick or fancy or pimped or slammed,,, the little granny darts and dusters and fords..unreal...nothing there could even come close for American graffiti... that stock yellow duster was the queen of the show imo...it made my heart stop and reminded me of the girl i dated/later married/later divorced.... whos teen beat ex had a duster and still was calling her on the phone to say hi... and would see us on the bikes...many years ago...he fell out one time with her seat belted in and riding with no driver, they were like 17....before we dated she was riding with him and he opened his door and leaned out to hear an exhaust deal ...the fucking guy fell out of his own car ...lol....i would see that duster drive by my house when i was living with her, we were all just punk kids,i would chase him on the bikes....
the duster was so nice at that show last night..it was hard to look at....
