KZ1000 LTD 1979 Question

OK, I just purchased this bike and the back cover of the manual says B3. So I am assuming it really is. Does anyone know if there is any way to tell on the stamped numbers on the bike? Or what really is the differences between the B1, B2 and B3...B4 so on?

Hello and welcome to the site! In the tool bar up above you will see a tab marked "KZ INFO". In there you can look up your specific model and find the info your looking for. FYI, the 79 LTD model year is designated as a "B3". Here is a link to that info in case you need it:
