Good motorcycle Insurance anyone?

Moved to Florida and my old company doesn't offer policies down here? (Foremost) what's a good cheap one? Maybe Florida specific? The rates are retarded I know that, 5 times what Colorado was. I'm not bundling, just the old KZ on the policy and my history is spottless.

Progressive, will insure old bikes for what you have in them (costs to restore) and they insure anything you attach to the bike up to the limit of the policy. My KZ100 is insured for what I got in it plus my leathers, helmet and any tank bag, tail bag and their contents. I have 3 bikes covered right now and the premium runs under $400 a year. I can add the 4th bike with just liability for $10 more per year.

Surprisingly, motorcycle insurance is not required in Florida. Not trying to give bad advise. Would never recommend not having it. Admittedly, I got my tags without without insurance for now, just so I can go up and down the street. I do plan on insuring it once its ready for the open road however.

I agree with the fire and theft protection. I use the same theft protection with a 8 3/8" barrel, allows for a more long distance protection!

Lived in Florida for years, rates are very high but that's probably because Florida has 3rd highest motorcycle fatality rate in country, next to CA and TX. I went with Geico, they give 10% discount for MSF classes and another discount since I have my car with them. I've always had great service from them and the one time they replaced a truck I had that was stolen, they gave me top dollar with no hassels. So the Gecko gets my buck. Good luck and watch out for the dreaded Florida bluehairs.
