Like Mecca without the crowds. I'll bet that there were less than 20 people in the museum when I was there (Friday afternoon).

I was there the first week of May. It is a dream land.
Was heading to the Tail of the Dragon - Really great riding country.

This is terrible, but I live less that 100 miles from Barber's and have never been. I gotta go soon!!

Your post actually reminded me to go there on my way to Pensacola, thanks! Between Barber and the free Wednesday Blue Angels practice and Naval Air Museum tour in Pensacola, I saw an incredible amount of cool stuff this vacation. The wife and 7 and 2 year old daughters liked it too. A free air show and then autograph session with the Blue Angels was just too cool.
