Would it be sacrilege to use this badge?

I'll be fabbing up some side covers for my KZ250 cafe project. I was surfing around looking for badges or emblems.
I have "Kawasaki" badges for the tank.

I really like these Suzuki GT250 emblems.

They might look really nice with the color scheme I have in mind, too.
Would it be against all things KZ if I used a Suzuki badge on the bike? It's pretty modified anyway and will look nothing like a stock KZ when I'm done.

If you think it's just wrong to use them, take a look at all the 250 badges available here:
www.reproductiondecals.com/default_frame...ml?content.html~main

See anything really cool? (BTW, this post is totally tongue in cheek, but my girlfriend thinnks it's just wrong to use a Suzuki badge on a Kawasaki).

The only one you need to please is yourself (and your gf). Having said that, the only thing I find totally distasteful are people trying to make their vehicle into something it's not, like this:

1976 BMW R90/6
1982 Honda CBX

Ooh, yuck.

No, it will look more like this.

All the KZ250 emblems I can find have "LTD" or "Z250C" or something.
There are several plain "250" emblems from other models. Think anyone but a Suzuki guy would know I used a Suzuki badge?

Catseye is right. If it floats your boat. Others will always have their opinion. Respect theirs and they will mostly respect yours. I do say mostly. There may be grown children who figure you better think like them. They are usually not much fun anyway after the first 5 minutes.
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

A lot of people will know it's a Suzuki badge, few will care.

Nope, I was able to figure out some rear set brackets that will enable me to run the clip ons.
