A dedicated Z1 website!
15 Feb 2011 21:51
I stumbled upon this while browsing the internet:
www.kawasakiz1.com/
.
It seems as though it's really new (went on-line on Sep 28th), I haven't seen it on here before so I thought I'd share the wealth.
I like it a lot, good luck to this guy!

One thing I've noticed over all the years with Kawasaki's is how they do a stunning job on the paint for first year models..... and then screw it all up for the next
JMO so don't anyone with Z1B's get all excited.
They did with 900 Ninjas, ZX14's and others. On the 85 GPz11, they screwed up the graphics....
More on topic.... that site has a nice start. I hope it goes well

I also always felt that Kawasaki fumbled the ball a bit in 1974 with the Z1A paint scheme (but I like the Z1B paint)...but I wouldn't turn one down in original paint and I'd keep it that way
...we'll see where this new site goes...I note much shared with other sites.

i think the japanese figured out we were all stoned in the 70s so it didnt matter what color they painted because guys like Ronkz650 and Larry were heavy into the metalflake and were going to repaint anyway! :woohoo:
and it took kawasaki 4 yrs to finally get the gpz1100 colors right!
thats why so many of them got stripped and repainted green/gold metal flake with 3" tall kawasaki letters on the tanks in early-mid 70s! :woohoo:mtbspeedfreak wrote:I stumbled upon this while browsing the internet: www.kawasakiz1.com/ .
