Do many people work on their own bikes? I've just finished a carb rebuild & wondered what home workshops people have? I have heaps of hand tools, a good bench, a vice & sufficient room for 2 bikes, a scooter & a car. What about you?B)

Yeah, most of the guys (and some gals) here do their own work. There are some members with CRAZY machines in their home shops for machining custom parts, or guys that can weld anything under the sun(usually the same guys with the machine shop at home). The rest of us get by quite well with a standard assortment of hand and power tools, with a few specialty tools thrown in. You seem to be well equiped for wrenching on machines, so welcome to the family! By the way, NICE Z1!!! :woohoo:

You have a nice set-up...I also have it lucky...most of a 2-car garage but with 'seasonal changes'. Plants during freezes (currently), one car during a hurricane, a permanent laundry room, Christmas decorations from the attic in December, and odds and ends my wife refuses to toss.

Every Garage could use one of these.

When I get my own garage, I'll move my "stuff" out of here. Oh I have plans for my shop, and no TV will be in there either.

tractor and bike garage/auto and bike workshop/taxidermy shop/storage (mostly junks)
The worst thing about it is my son uses there and leave mess behind every time I turn around. I will wait till he moves out to make it organized and clean.

Patton, you talk CoreyClough into sending me that sign and
I'll let you barrow my lathe, it's also a mill.
I am lucky to have another building for tractors & STUFF ;)
For some odd reason my wife likes to help keep the shop clean?
Thing is I cant find anything after she helps, go figure.
