This is a VERY interesting concept. This truly could be the next generation of engines.

wonder who bought up the rights on that and ripped up the plans by now......
there is no question that engines can be made in many new forms and great jumps forward are then available to the common man......
this engine will never see the light of day.....

That is very cool. It's nice to see people thinking outside the box when it comes to engine development.

Interesting stuff. Typically, opoc engines have 2 cranks that are geared together at the output end. That central crank design is really elegant.

Nice video.
I love how when you look in forums that people are already taking sides. Claiming "it will be the greatest engine invention in decades".
...or "its going to fail miserably because of..."
 When I actually get my hands on one to feel it, then I believe!
I gotta say though, it does look a hell bit more complicated than just "popping the jug off and throwing in a piston kit to get back on the track" style two-stroke - for sure.
Touring/street bike maybe, but not enduro/dirt/track I would guess.
Cool.

I want one
Wait, make that two. One diesel and one gasoline version with B34's and pods
You want some cool engine technology? I'm talking mechanical tech from WWII era. If you're ever in Maine, visit the antique aircraft museum in Owl's Head.
You'll walk away pretty impressed at what was done 70 years ago.
Cool Link Jeff, thanks for that.
