I'm lookin' for a similar bike but if I find it I know I'm gonna make up the difference on warm riding gear!

Believe it or not you're about the first person not to say "What?! A motorcycle in winter?!?" and then wander off muttering distractedly about insanity and padded cells...
I forgot the best part which is that because it is classed as an antique my insurance on it will be about $10 a month. I could put my Z1's and KZ1000 on antique plates but if the bike is totaled the max amount they will pay out is $600 which is less than what the four cyls are worth but is quadruple what the KE is worth
You're in Ontario right? Are you getting the antique insurance with "Home for Chrome"? All the boys I have been talking to have said to put some short sheet metal screws into the knobs on the tires as studs...the only thing is that they are banned on the roads here, and if a pig sees me riding in the winter he'll likely pull me over and look at my tires. I may just ride on the days that the road is clear and free from ice and snow.
