Yep, that's a Vincent H.R.D - Black Shadow, on the KZR homepage..
Look at these boys, putting the Vincent V-2 engines together, circa 1950 or so:

It took approx. 2-3 weeks to produce a Vincent, and every Vincent, leaving the factory was built by one man. Then another guy did all the tests, and a standard Black Shadow had a top speed of approx. 137 mph in 1951, and could do 100 mph for hours and hours. The Vincent Lightning was guaranteed to do 250 km/h equal to 155 mph - this is 60 years ago.

Note function of front suspension, while handlebars don't hardly move.
Good Fortune!

Peter Egan did a great write up of a fully restored vincent black lightning awhile back. It's amazing what these old bikes could do.

First time I saw a vincent wasa about 3 years ago at a community event. they had a car show and antique bike show.I was there with the wife and kids.I stood there and studied that bike for as long as I could before the wife was getting anxious.that thing blew me away with the way in advance thinking for suspension and braking.the more I looked at it the more stuff I noticed.it was sitting next to a few very old harleys and a couple indians.no comparison.

There is a Vincent restorer in my town (Alvin, TX) and we have chatted about Vincents (he was unimpressed with any of my bikes...including the Z2)...he also didn't invite me over to his house...I think we run in different financial circles

Some of the most expensive motorcycle collectibles:

I don't own any of these
and don't do much bidding at the Barrett-Jackson Car Auctions
