Penton In The Weeds
03 Oct 2010 03:12
I found this bike yesterday while looking at more motorcycles to buy.
We had to really work to get it out of honeysuckle vines.
There is some nice parts on this bike and will make someone very happy.

Damn you old man....
Whoa, looks killer... Other then pipe and shock rust, seems to be fairly intact...
How easy is it to get parts for these any longer is going to be the question... Hope it works out... If you do get it going, AVI please....
That's just freaking awesome... :woohoo:

I am going to offer it for sale on the Penton site or part it on eBay.
It has leather on the gas tank.
There was also a early 70's enduro Yamaha. Roy

Don't know the type of Yamaha. I didn't want to seem too anxious.
I'll probably see him again today. Roy

I went back and bought the 1978 Kz 650. I wanted the brake set up and signals. I think it is a SR.
Nice bike.
It had a set of carbs that had been rebuilt in New york state. I think the box was dated over 10 years ago. They were never installed.
There was a set of X pipes for it also.
I need to buy a camera. Mine is broke. Roy
