have him look through these...
these bikes are collected on every continent and every country,,,,they are to motorcycles what the camaros and firebirds are to cars...better really...
it is like when you get a dog...say a dobbie for instance...not a dumb one but a champion in the ruff.....all of a sudden folks will walk up and wanna pet it and tell you little dobbie info/facts/personal stories....ect...in the end ...you can't leave the house with that dog and go ten ft without learning something new about dobbies...you see dobbies on t.v in cars...at the stoplight there goes one.....where as before you may never have even noticed em...same story but replace it with a volvo....ect....you build the bike and in a yr pop will be like... hey joe!!i was talking to my friend and he said those were the fastest bikes ever made for yrs...or ,he said though things were bullet proof....ect...ect...have him look through the gallery link above...and tell him to find a german or japanese gallery link....
P.S my DAD hates me...hates bikes and hates the wotld.....the milkman rode a kawi imo

Re: kz's credibility

Like tri just said, so many people come out of the woodwork and tell me stories all the time. My kz1000 is far less interesting than a kz900 and I have old timers come up to me all the time and tell me stories with the same nostalgic smile on their face.
My buddies know nothing about bikes and at least once a week they tell me that they were at some old bikers house intalling a furnace or something and told him about my kz1000 and the guy kept them there for hours talking about the old days feeding them food and offering beers. There is something very special about these bikes that goes back before I was born, but I can see it and I am sure you will too.

I never knew about them either and stumbled into mine.
Now when I go on trips, break down, stop for fuel, there's always someone with a story about their/their dad's/their friend's kawi 900. My buddy gets annoyed because nobody wants to talk about his bike...

X-2 hey not that what people think matters ,but it's true.....
every where i go where bike folks are present if i have a kz with me...nothing super built trick either...just a decent representation of the kz era...folks will walk right by my friends 2009 full tilt yami 1000 or any other bikes around and start telling me stories before i even finish getting my helmet off....my buddy smiles and listens...and wishes he had a kz most days...he even says when i comment on his bitchin FZ1..."your bikes cooler"...

I agree, awesome pic! Do you happen to have a larger version of that you could email me? Then it wouldn't look fuzzy when I enlarge it for my wallpaper!
