ok, I got one for free...along with a nice reinforced aluminum swinger for free...you want that too?

I will post some pics once I get out there so I can show you the exhaust in question. It all came in my recent aquisition of a gpz11...

Never had a Bassani on a four stroke but I did have a set of Bassani expansion chambers on a Suzuki GT550 three cylinder two stroke. They are pretty rare these days

Sweet! All I wanted was the motor, but I got the whole bike, it was road raced, and has a few goodies. The guy I got it from races a z1 engined Harris framed bike.

Nice score. Is that a modified GPZ swingarm? Looks like it's set up for mono shock with a linkage?

I don't know yet, as far as I know the 83 gpz's had a monoshock but the shock went down instead of up...and I think somebody added the reinforcing. I think I will use many of these parts on my LTD to make it look like less of a burger bike. I will admit though, the speedo and tach on the gpz are kind of dorky...

Here are a couple more pics, I was looking for another motor so I could build it up and put in my bike while I am using the stock motor that is it there now...instead I got a whole bike!

I will have to get rid of the goofy stickers on the bike though, they belong on your toolbox, not your bike...

Here is the motor, the holy grail of J motors, 83 GPz11.

Looks rough, but that's fine as this will be my ongoing project...it will keep my fingers out of my daily driver so I can actually ride it instead!

I think I will end up selling much of the bike on eBay or on here, I will get rid of the DFI and throw in some good carbs and likely cannibalize some of the goodies for my LTD. Just not sure about the swingarm yet, would this sort of arm be good for drag racing? I think it's better suited for handling curves and turns and shit, so I may throw it on my other bike.
