Usually traceable to faulty carb function which allows fuel to rise up too high inside the carb for whatever reason.

Or a speck of grit or crud preventing complete seal of float needle tip inside the seat orifice.

Or maybe a leaky float, or "sticking" float, or loss of float buoyancy.

And sometimes floats get installed upside down. :pinch:

Likelihood of fuel intrusion into crankcase is increased when carb overflow circuit doesn't exist or is obstructed.

Good Fortune! :)

A faulty petcock may also be adding to the problem, but not causing it.

On the KZ1000Ps, a leaky petcock plus float valves that don't close leads to gas in the oil. Not uncommon to need to rebuild the petcock or replace with a shutoff. As a stopgap, you may find that putting the petcock on reserve instead of main may work to stop the fuel flow when the bike is not running. If your petcock has a PRI (prime) setting, don't leave it on this or you're asking for gas in your oil.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THERE INPUT. TO ANSEWER ONE ? THOUGH, I WASNT GOING TO HAVE THE OIL CHANGED. THE PO SAID HE CHANGED THE OIL RECENTLY. BUT THE MECHNIC SAID HE SMELLED GAS IN OIL. IT COST 10 BUCKS. THE PO ALSO REPLACED THE PETCOCK, WITH NEW ONE. THE MECHNIC ALSO FLUSHED THE CARBS AND ALL 4 DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO, WHICH IS GAS CAME OUT. NOW THEY STILL MAY NEED TO BE CLEANED AND REBUILT I DONT KNOW BUT IT IS A ? I WILL ASK.
