FREE BIKE IN DENVER!

1991 Zephyr 550 basket case, free to haul away but you must take the whole thing, not just a few parts.

PM me for the owner's email address, but be quick about it! The guy needs garage space and will put the bike in the dumpster this weekend.
Spyder wrote: Basket case Zephyr 550, title stolen when I was in Iraq. All parts are there, maybe missing a couple of bolts. When it was taken apart it had a knocking piston far right side. Rust set in after bringing it to Colorado from California during winter.

If you know someone that wants it now and can come pick it up cool, but I'm not running a junk yard and need every last part gone!

I will wait three more days, if you know someone who wants it. After that, I will throw it away with the help of a Sawzall.

Really? No one? There's not one KZ550 guy in the Denver area who could use a bunch of free parts?

I find that hard to believe...

I'm in Oklahoma, about 800 miles away.

If I was anywhere near that bike, I'd have already gone and picked it up and you never would have heard about it.

I figured it was long gone. I'll take it if it's still available.

Well I went and got it. As one could expect with a free bike, it's not quite "mint"
I was hoping for original paint, got that, the sidecovers are good, the engine covers, pipe looks good, seat fairly good, instruments good. Nice little bike at one time. Has a 1996 tag on it, so it's been a long time since this poor thing has seen life.

Hey there Ron,good score! Would you be parting it out or are you going to bring it back to life? I may be interested in the rear shocks if it is for parts? David

Nice score Ron! Nice looking exhaust too! Is that one that might bolt up to a 650?
