Good luck finding parts for that bike. It would almost have to be free for me to consider it in the condition its in. I know the kZ's can turn into money pits but this will be a deep one. Could be a fun project though. Have you talked to him to see what he would take for it?

if it's cheap enough grab it they are becoming really desirable collectors peices and you can get parts if you need to do anything to the turbo aftermarket, a freind of mine just is in the process of turning one into a chopper and has picked up a complete turbo rebuild kit from some outfit in california. and for right around a 100.00 dollars.

The original owner loved the bike so much that he did 1300 km in 28 years??? He must have really enjoyed that bike.

I messaged him to see how much he wants, if it's reasonable I might get it. It'll cost me over $100 in gas to get it, so it better be cheap.

Unless I go in the VW like I did a couple years ago to get a CB400!
