G model tank chrome

Hey guys,
I did have the chrome panels on my bike when I bought it. Then I changed the color and put a 650 duck tail on it. I should've have put the chrome back on,but it was scratched and dented and was really nasty looking. Now after seeing other G's with it,I was wondering where I could get it from?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Those only came mounted on the gas tank. They never came separate. You would have to have them made. The G model is probably one of the rarest models made, With exception of the true 1978 Z1R. Which more were made but also a higher percentage were destroyed or modified beyond recognition. If you have the original fuel injection on it and working right, it would be worth restoring. If not than just paint the tank using a Chrome silver for effect.

I sent the chrome off my tank to Australia.

Your best bet would be to find another tank on ebay. I see them there occasionaly. Roy
