forks,sidecovers,shocks........ id say $300-$400 is doable if motor aint locked,im gonna guess 74-75 from silver motor.any z1 is worth grabbing up for that kind of money, ive got waaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff already but if it showed up within 100 miles of here it would be on its way to the undisclosed barn![/quote]

it is 1/2 mile away!:woohoo:

@ $300-400, motor is worth that out here in AZ alone....
Sure, still have to go through it but look at it this way... Find another POS <$500 Z1 series and now have plenty of spare parts... ;)

Simple math breakdown of USED engine internals...
If truly only 20K miles on her, pistons and timing components most likely still good but who knows...
No way of knowing how this old girl was ridden...

Engine cases ................... $50
Crank .......................... $100 +
Good no broken fin cylinder..... $100 +
Head............................ $100-$200 +
Used Shift forks are $50 each... $100 (2)
Shift Drum...................... $75-$100
Tranny, no broken gears......... $200 +
Timing chain & gears............ $100-$200

Plastic side covers NEW......... $75!!!!
These being original thus hard to find probably more...

Not hard to see, @ <$500, it's a deal! ;)

I'm with Jordan, this wouldn't even be a question for it would already be in my garage and bragging images would be posted.... :woohoo:

Ty... As Craiggy just pointed out (luv it), you are now this Z's bitch.... Too late, you've been pawned...

You will not sleep, you will not eat, you will spend every moment with her giving her love and attention... You will spend every dime in your pocket on her.... You won't be able to get her out of your mind....

As for your GF/wife/kids, kiss them good bye for awhile.... Like 2 years...  :P

Yes we are joking, somewhat mind you, for this does and will become and obsession.... It's insane! Hell, if we spent this much time on our human formed love ones we wouldn't need to buy them diamonds..... :woohoo:

Only 90/10...

WTF, should be 100 to 0!
Seriously, this is a no brainer, take 3-4 $100 bills with ya... It's yours!

Even if you can't title/register, motor is worth that alone... Not to mention all the other goodies on the bike....

As mentioned, go e-bay search for those plastic side covers. I'd wager they easily (for both mind you) go for close to $100 or more...

This is a Z1 we're speak about.... Hard to come by any longer... KZ900's sure you can find them but Z's.... not so easy any longer...
