Japan D and C block drag race videos
28 Oct 2009 02:08
Drag race vids open class from Japan. Lots of old z's and a few z650's. Surprisingly, in the first video, the 650 is the fastest bike throughout. Unfortunate that he screwed up the start on the second run.
In japan, the kz650 was known for being good in the corners and surprisingly fast, which is why they call it the "zapper". In the first vid, you can see "team zapper" written on the tank of the kz650.
D block:
1st race: z1 vs modified zII (zII has transmission problems)
2nd race: zrx1200r vs z650
3rd race: B-King vs zzr1400
4rth race: v-max vs v-max
C block:
Z1000MKⅡ GSXR1100 GSX1100S GPZ Z650 ZEP1100

Way cool! Is it 1/8 mile? Times seem way off for 1/4 mile?

Actually, I didn't realize that the Japanese had adopted drag racing. Very Cool!

The 650 was pretty tuff, I would like to see it run, with a good rider.
