I've seen the XR12's in Ontario, they weren't all blacked out like this one if that's what you mean. Now if Harley put the Revolution motor in a sporty with this updated styling they would have a cool bike!

ive seen the xr1200 at the local HD dealer. couldnt get over the silver engine. someone must have heard me. tried to see if the X model was only for europe or maybe HD will pull the same trick of introducing it overseas first. the more i see this X........

looks good for a harley, i've read about it sounds like they've put alot into this one it's handling is suppose to be great and power isn't to bad either

I like the Buell Thunderbolt I saw more in my hometown with a 1200 sportster engine stuck in it...

Hmmm...there are only two models of HD that I have really liked...the 1977/78 XLCR and the new XR1200...I'd make room in my garage for either

I rode one at the local Harley shop (they used to sell Kaws too...bought my KLR there). The power was impressive but, the rubber mounted engine would take some getting used to. I kept thinking something was getting ready to fall off. This one only had about 12 miles on it so, after break in, it might smooth out some.
Cool looking bike though...if there was a smaller exhaust system for it.

I have not read any road tests yet, so I don't know if it handles or not - assuming it does handle decent, I think it will have a market if the price point can compete with some of the other stripped down v-twins.
I wonder who HD is targeting - what age group / type of rider?
Would this be bought by 20-25 year old kids - I doubt it, 40-50 year olds - maybe.
