Anyone Have a 1984 KZ700?

I know we have our Craigslist thread, but I saw this 1984 KZ700 on Craigslist and wanted to know if anyone has owned one and if their worth putting some effort into fixing her up.

RetroRiceRocketRider has/had(?) one but he's not around here much these days. Search the archives, there's some info on them in there.

It is fundamentally a 750L4 (which Canada got) and I'm somewhat surprised that it is not more desireable than it is. They were only 2000 made but it has never attracted the attention of collectors...if one fell into my lap around here, I'd consider it. :)

I always liked that particular model , I only wish I could talk the wife out of the Honda CBR125R and get her to buy a KZ700 or 750.
