My Zed, IF I ride it like a semi normal person pulls down in the low 30 range. But that damn WOT gets me at least a couple times every time I go for a ride;)
So in most rides it's around 25 ~28 mpg.

If pro is opposite of con, then what is the opposite of progress?

I get betweeen 48 and 50 MPG in commuting conditions on my 1981 750 LTD.
Between 45 and 70 mph on freeways and state roads, If I am riding for just pleasure, and pushing it a little more, I get like 40-45 mpg.

I hope I get that 50mpg you get (same bike). I got this bike as a commuter to save gas. Some of the #'s posted are scaring me. Heck, my car weighs much more and has more wind area but gets 30mpg. Had my 1st ride to work yesterday so no #'s to report yet. I'll look into my gearing to see if there's anything to be had there. Seems high on the interstate.
