I am working on my Sprint and I am having some issues with the bike idling. All of my carb experience is with CV type carbs.
This morning I rebuilt the carb and started up my Sprint. The bike runs well and idles but only with the enricher on. When I close the enricher, the bike shuts down. I thought I would get the bike warm and turn the idle adjustment screw until the bike idles up but I turned the screw by hand until it was too difficult to turn and the bike never increased in idle. Am I missing something?
I sonicated all of the jets and float bowl. I purchased a new float pin and carb gasket set.
I rode the bike around the neighborhood and pulls well and ran fine through all four gears. It starts easy, usually 1 to 3 kicks.
I would appreciate any help or explanation of what is happening in the carb.

Problem solved. Bike idles and runs great.
