This is really coming together now the frame is coated, now comes the best part, putting everything together with lots of smiles showing all the hard work was worth it, great job 👍👍👍

What about something like this  a great dark colour candy, which will really show off the chrome ☀️

Thanks for the inspiration on color...That is a very nice purple, but I was thinking of something a little lighter considering the Colorado sun. Something like 650ED's bike looks pretty dang good. So, metallic regal blue, Candy Tahitian Blue, Subaru metallic blue etc.

I do still have a fair bit to do...wiring, paint tank/side covers, hardware plating or coating, and a bit of seat pan repairs... the fasteners are really thing thing holding me up now.

I have been working on a few other things in the past month....

Cleaning the engine

Patching a couple of ugly broken fins... didn't want to get too crazy with the head still on.

Mounting the dual horns and oil cooler (1983 gpz1100). Final bracket will be printed in MJF nylon

The side cover is now in the right shape. It's still cosmetically porous, but good enough for now... Should've just bought one for $50 on ebay

I also plan on doing a simple oil pan gate as seen here  or here . I can't believe Kaw put an oil pickup at the front.......
