Nice project. Do yourself a favor and throw those cheap pod filters in the trash and buy some quality ones. Those will just cause you problems.

i have in test and thi bike have very fine, its fun to drive...
the only problem is that stopping at the side stand loses gasoline through the carburetor and has a complete set of gaskets and seals

best regards

Handsome bike!

Is gasoline escaping through an overflow hose?

Good Fortune! :)

Which of the four overflow hoses is discharging gasoline?

An overflow often results from failure of a float valve to close (for whatever reason).

When a freshly reassembled carb leaks through the overflow circuit, it sometimes helps the float valve to fully close by rapping smartly against the carb bowl with the plastic handle of a large screwdriver. Tap-tap-tap . . . tap-tap-tap.

Can try this method with the engine not running, and again with the engine running at idle speed.

Good Fortune! :)
