So I decided to take the bike apart for cleanup over the winter. I'll be dismantling most of it in a couple weeks, which should give me plenty of time to sort things out and order parts without rushing through any work. Having most of the components on the bench should help out a lot too. Between fresh rubber, gaskets, hoses, and a bit of cleanup, she should run pretty well when I get her back together. I figure it's a good time to check for any other issues like frame cracking, fork seals etc. I'll be replacing pretty much all the fluid and working through the repair manual to bring things back up to spec. Some polish and paint on a few of the key parts would do a lot for the bike too.
