Thanks guys! I'll give up the machinist AFTER I'm done with him.

He's a great guy. Knows his bike stuff. He's been working in the race bike business for a long time. Does the work for Brian O'Shea, a collector of 80's superbikes.

A little progress, but not much. Had to move the bottom shock mounts back to lower the rear a bit.

and a rear light and blinker bracket.

Working on sourcing some side covers, and just sent a bit of cash Jeff/Z1enterprise's way today for some needed pieces parts.

That is one way over-engineered light/plate bracket...I like it! You got any side shots of it mounted up? It looks like it will extend pretty far past the fender.

Doug no pics from the side with the tail on. If you look back at the other pics, you can see that the tail subframe is essentially even with the back end of the swingarm. When you put the tail on, it you gain the space that the bracket fits in, so the tail light is basically right under it.

Plummen, I'm using the tail in the pics, which I believe is the original 76 tail.

I made a bracket for my ZX12 taillight and I know the 12's light is a little thicker but the bracket I made didn't look nearly as long as yours.
