Mine is almost done, just have to take a ride up and see him one more time...He wants to put a set of those triples on my rex,I'm on the fence about that...Later, Chris.

Nice looking work! I'm about to start making my own t/clamps and I'm wondering what offset you are using?

yes, same old s**t different day.
The offset was a topic of many long discussions between me and the machinist and we finally decided to stick with stock KZ offset of 50mm. The donor ZRX has 30mm of offset. The KZ runs a much higher rake than the ZRX, but has less trail. Since I'm changing so many other things about the bike's suspension, eg ZRX swingarm, which slightly longer, shocks, 17" rims, that I would just have to play with front and rear ride height to get the sort of handling I want. My goal here is stability, not corner carving. Once I get initial set up done, I'll figure the numbers and work from there using both "seat of the pants" and good old fashioned ciphering.

Thanks for the information! Right now it looks like I will be building mine with 40mm of offset. I'm going to use KYB forks from a YZF600r. RaceTech sells lots of revalve bits for them.
Thanks again!

Lots to report this time around! Here are some pics of triple clamp in progress and finished:
Unneeded tabs have been removed and the gussets have been welded in on the frame:
And the ZRX 1200 swingarm has been fitted (note spiffy shocks!):
