carb paint/finish question

This may not belong here but I am looking for some real answers and the tech heads hang out here not in the projects forum. 76 kz900 complete disassemble. powdercoating almost everything, rebuilding everything. I cant stand the gray dull looks of the carbs. Just cant take it. So, I believe I am going to soda blast them, that will shine them up. but I want them to either stay shiny. So powdercoat them a clear or black color? If you get gas, it knocks off the gloss, so colors are not a great option, especially for me. i have rebuilt many carbs and can do a good job on making it run, but sooner or later your gonna have a needle stick and they are gonna leak. Never fails. So, whats my best option here? How do I keep my carbs shiny?
Remember, the government can not give you anything they have not first, taken from someone else.
