Anyone know what the spec is for this, I can't find it in the manual I have.

My manual says 18.6mm from the float bowl mating surface to the top of the floats. Good luck:)

Since the floats have been bent up over the years... not the tang where they are supposed to be adjusted but the whole float body, I suspect this measurement is pretty useless. Use the service fuel level method described in your manual for an accurate amount of fuel in your bowls.

What George says.

An added benefit is you'll learn if the float valves are doing their job and not sticking/leaking BEFORE remounting carbs on the bike. You may need to dress the float needle seats to get a good seal.
