81' kz440 b std. arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh, hey kz ers went riding this afternoon, and after about 30 minutes the rear wheel started grabbing. by the time i got home if i didn't have it in gear i couldn't even push it.
upon returning into the garage i loosened the adjuster on rear brakes and still no luck wont roll, rear wheel lock up hhhheeeeeeeeeellpppppp plz tim:(

pull the wheel and see if one of the linings came off the shoe if its a drum brake...if not your caliper is frozen...steve

yea its drum, was planning on replacing shoes, tires, tubes, and chain; so this is motivation. will pull tire and see what i find thx, tim

had the same thing happen to me on my kz 650b lining on brake shoe broke
