If you're keeping the 36mm. trees, forks from the H1 500 triple will work as well, have used them on dragbikes back in the day.

The front end of the KH 400 triple has 34mm. forks but you will need to weld a Z/KZ stem on the KH trees to use with your frame.

Put a spacer of desired length in fork bottom to shorten the forks to whatever length you want/need.

Spacers are sold here in 1"-3" lengths. Just a piece of aluminum tube cut to desired length to shorten your forks. Pulls the inner fork tube down into the bottom fork leg more.

I thought APE sold them but can't find them on their web-site. If they do, maybe Jay will let us know.
