Wow guys, thanks for all the good info. I think I'm going to go for the aluminum Zephyr arm. There is one local I should be able to pick up.

I learned something today. in many, many threads, everyone always says look at OMR's build. I searched and searched and could not find a member by OMR. Then Old Man Rock replies to my thread and it clicked LOL!

That rz is real nice. been kinda looking for one for next build.as far as swingarms. look up kanos gpz I think he used the whole asss end off of a gsxr 1000 and just welded shock mounnts to it.wheel, brakes, axle, everything.or try to find a zx6 swing arm and see if you can turn it over and use the upper brace as a new lower underbrace welding shock mts to it??have to look at wheel off set?

sorry if this is hijacking, but it's kind of on topic...why do some reinforced swingarms have the reinforcing tube pointing up, and most of our older bikes that have been converted have them pointing down?

A ZX6R is about 100# lighter than that 900 so your spring rates are going to be way off.

That can be mitigated though with heavier springs.

The easiest way and the best way to do a dual shock aluminium swingarm is to get one from a about a 82 GS1100E suzuki.
Its the same as the one I run EASY swap but youll have to change the shocks as well
