Had never thought about whether the KZ900-B1 bracket would be a bolt-on fit to the KZ650, until the possibility was mentioned by Locozuna earlier in this thread.

Tried modifying the stock ones, but there isn't a way to move them back to the bike more without cutting the wire ears. I'll have to keep my eyes out for one of the kz900 ones.
