cool that looks great, except the way the gauges are so high up, I saw on the post you linked the guy who customized his gauge mounts, that makes it look a lot nicer. What are the bars called that have a similar position to clip-ons but still mount like a normal bar, are those drag bars? they have a horseshoe shape and bend backwards. OK thats a terrible description... hopefully you understand what i mean.

What you are talking about are called "Clubman Bars".

Tomasselli (I think that's it) makes a set of adjustable clubmans that are super nice.

Drag bars are flat with angle backs on each end .. It will be the way I go as I do bend over that far anymore,,LOLOL

yeah those look great, are they hard to get used to? Also, do you happen to know of any good brands of bar end mounted mirrors? I saw some on the new Triumph that were 'Napolean' brand, hopefully not Napolean Dynamite and just Napolean.

The measurements for these bars are as follows: 7/8 inch diameter, 28 inches between grips, and approximately 8 inch pullback.

I found these bars for pretty cheap, would they fit???

Napoleon is correct. They're a bit more expensive than some other brands (like the cheap ass one I have) but they have a rubber mount which makes them vibrate a lot less, so you have much better vision. I'm planning on getting one soon. They're supposed to be worth it...
The clubman bars are pretty comfortable to me - but take a good look at what riding position you want to be in. Do you have rearsets, do you mind leaning over towards the front. Sit on your bike and hold your hands next to the forks just underneath the top triple tree. That's where you'll be, roughly.... a bit more up and forward is possible too.
For size, what you want to do is try and figure out if the bars will clear your triple tree on the side so you can have a proper angle. The middle part has to be wide enough basically.

i've never tried this style of bar before. they look uncomfortable. how do they handle?

I got napolean mirrors from here, the link is for another brand(WAY cooler) but out of my price range. I paid around 85 canadian for two mirrors.
