No idea what jets are in currently. Any suggestions?

First, make sure the pods are real K&N's.  Not china cheepies.  Second, contact Zed about a correction jet insert.  That's easier than rejetting the carbs by trial and error.

I agree with Ed, you should take a look at Zed's air jet solution.  Not to speak for him but it does make sense to me. You can do searches here on site for his posts to learn more about it. You will still need to learn what jetting the carb set currently has. Do not quote me on this and get the proper info from Zed.  As I understand it is suggested to leave all stock settings other than to increase the main jet and add the corrector air jet when using pods. 

I have seen data that indicates there were a couple of different settings for the accelerator pump carbs that came stock on the 650s  All came with 15 pilot jets but there are differences between mains (97.5 and 100 and could be others?) as well as different throttle valve cutaways and different sizes of jet needles and needle jets.
