for starters if you have a harbor freight close you can get a inside/outside caliper tool for a 1.99 and measure the inside diameter on the motor side...that will tell you the size....they are either vm series or bs series...they look quite different.......go to z-1 enterprises and look up vm specs.....if they dont look like those, they are probably bs..........keith

The markings are on the flange near where the carbs fit in the rubber boots. Look in front of the choke lever. On the outside carbs. look on both sides. Roy

Got a bit sidetracked by my turbo, but finnally got around to checking out the carbs.1 set looks to be a set of late Z1's. They are trash though, the p/o beat the sh!t out of them. The others have a excelerator pump on them.

You can see the chunk missing out of the inlet on the 2nd carb. Such a dumb thing to do to a set of carbs, These are the ones that look to be late Z1's.

These I still have'nt positively I.D.ed but they have an excelerator pump on them. Is something missing from them, the last pic shows the xlr8r pump.

I also found this set that I bought off ebay. I have no idea what tey were on but I think they are yamaha FZR600 or 1000 carbs. They measure out to 31mm with my digital caliper.

the pumpers are 28 mm...you know that already....decent carbs...those constant velocity off the yamaha....you might want to check the spacing to see if they fit on a kawasaki....

They look pretty close, I'm gonna measure before I go any further with them, They were cheap, I paid 25 bocks for them and they're in great condition.
