Alright, I'm gonna give this a shot. I've actually gotten them pretty clean with just the spray and some elbow grease.
Sorry again for my ignorance, but what is this PB blaster you mentioned?
I figure I'll try boiling them even after spraying them because of the gunk that's in the little nooks and crannys. Next is ordering up my boots and getting these things on!

PB Blaster is a penetrating oil aerosol. Should be able to find it at any automotive store.
