supply and demand,it sucks but what can you do?i used to buy complete 900s for $200-$300 goodluck,happy wrenching!:(

well i found a set of mikuni 34 cv's that i am going to run on my bike. this should be enough, i hope!!!!!!

i can't afford to run new carbs just yet. so this will get me by until i can afford rs's. by then i will have started building the 1200 plus cc engine for my bike.

but let me know what you think about running the 34 cv's

ya know, i have been told that the throttle response will be lacking with the cv type carbs. i don't know why.

but i am going to use them.

long duration cams will not have the same vac. that the stock short duration cams have.
I don't know what you are planing on using as lobe centers but I would make sure they don't have much overlap.

on a positive note the cams you have are of the short duration-high lift kind.

can some one show me how these cv carbs should be set up. not jets. but set up. do they need a vac hose? things like that. pics would be the best. (i am a visual type guy lol)
