I am looking for an original Kerker 4-1 for my 79 LTD or something very similar. Right now I have the side winder and I’m not fond of that style.

Unfortunately original Kerkers are hens teeth.  I ended up replacing mine with a Delkevic 4 into 1.  Similar style, oil filter is accessible, and they are stainless for a reasonable price.

How does the Delkevic sound? You’re right about the Kerker I have looked everywhere!

Have you looked at Supertrapp?  I can't recommend because I've never used them but I believe they are the old Kerker company.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

If I could find a Kerker in good shape I would purchase. Supertrap owns the Kerker brand but they don't offer anything for the Z1/KZ model in Kerker or Supertrap. I have a delkivic 4into1 on my GS1100GL and dont care for it, just a bit louder than I would like. Now if my memory serves me well I think the Kerker had a little nicer sound but I haven't heard on in 30 or so years. If anyone is lookin for the 4 into 4 I just bought a set of new Delkivics that look very nice for $1099 on eBay . Looks just as good as the Doremi or PMC pipes.

Slj029 - Delkevic with the "megaphone" muffler sounds close to what I remember of my kerker (haven't heard the kerker for years - bike was sitting and the exhaust became too rusty to save, so I got the Delkevic) Their "cafe style" shorter muffler is said to be louder.
