I am missing one screw and one has a bad head,
does any one have any they would part with.? I want two.
these screws hold the back cover on the indicator lamp tree. of my 1978 kz1000
there approx 3mm wide and overall length 10.mm

Ace Hardware probably has them in stock.

Assuming yours is an LTD, they are still available from Kawasaki, if you don’t mind paying extra. Looks like they are 3 X 8.

P.S. Be sure to use JIS screwdrivers rather than Phillips to prevent any more buggered screw heads.

M3 screw threads coarse thread is .50mm pitch.  Another good source is boltdepot.com .  They sell zinc plated or stainless steel hardware at good prices.  If you use the stainless screws don't forget to use anti seize, especially if threading into aluminum !

Also, Belmetric in Mass., that looks like a sems screw,(built in washer), they sell them, got them for carbs there
