I was very surprised to find that my new Kerker pipe clears the center stand on my 650B2! Cool, but now the stand swings up high enough to contact the drive chain:blink: ..not cool.
It looks like a guy could fab a bumper of some sort off of the pass. peg mount...anyone been there done that?
I want to keep the c.stand.

thanks all!
Ray

I have a Kerker Exhaust as well, and got to keep the centre stand on too. Also, I like the fact that the Oil Filter can be changed without having to remove the pipe, like I had to do with the Yosh pipe I had on before. PITA!

Here's a pic of the Centre Stand Stop that came with my Kerker:

To Rstnick I never had to remove the center pipe to change my filter. Once you unscrew that bolt till it isnt in anymore the cover of the filter can swing right past. I dont know if seeing your bike is a different model if it could do that. Sorry

I like that Kerker bumper set up better than what I did but...

I used a "L" bracket mounted to the passenger peg bolt as mentioned above, with a round rubber bumper (I found it laying on the street and it's red to match my paint!) mounted to the bottom of it. It softens the blow when taking the bike off the stand and gives plenty of clearance for the chain too. Functional but not as trick as that Kerker bracket.

Sorry no picture! ;)

Thanks neilage66, that was orig what I was thinking about doing....but after seeing rstnick's setup I can't help but think that's the better choice.
OK, I'm off to gather the required bits :cheer:

Ray
