Cool..thanks.

Could increased back-pressure cause the popping as well, or is that not possible? I have occasional popping when simply riding along now, whereas earlier it was only on decelleration.

Though maybe because the exhaust is quieter now, I can hear it..and it was always there :P

It has always been my understanding that if an exhaust system is leaking it will cause popping ,, The Idea is it lets in cool air and ignites the unburned gasses in the exhaust causing the Popping or mild back Fire ,, :unsure:
