If I may suggest, use the Japanese company Cruzinimage to source your piston rings.
I know there are sets available on Ebay, etc. I don't know where you got yours. But this is known to be a good company:

Roger that, not going to risk it. I'll run a flex hone through the tubes. Any suggestions on aftermarket rings? OEM ones seem hard to come by and pricey.
